The take
A four-day beginner course in the club's Toppers, taught over two weekends at Changi Sailing Club. You learn to rig, launch, sail every point of sail and recover from a capsize, then sit a proficiency test. It's open to non-members, and you swim 50 metres first.

Four full days over two weekends, 10am–5pm; there are several intakes a year, with dates on the club's page
Ages 12 and up; you swim 50m without a flotation device; five students are needed to start
