Whampoa Makan Place, Blocks 90 to 92 Whampoa Drive, is the hawker centre. Hoover Rojak at Block 90 #01-06 is Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall at 12 Tai Gin Road is closed for restoration until 2027 (sysnmh.org.sg). Zhongshan Park next door is still a lawn.
Getting there
Farrer Park (NE8) to Ng Ah Sio is about eight minutes on foot. Novena (NS20) to Founder is about ten. Boon Keng is the other door for Whampoa.
