Mandai will sell you five parks. This clock buys two and a nap. The Zoo is still the one to beat: 8:30am–6pm, last entry 5pm, orangutans overhead. Night Safari is daily 6pm–midnight, last entry 11:15pm; walking trails and the tram start at 7pm, last tram 11:20pm (mandai.com). You must pick a time slot. The one-park-not-four essay is the briefing. We are the sequence.
Breakfast in the Wild is the Ah Meng Terrace buffet, 9:00–10:30am, animal appearance typically 9:15–10:00am — Zoo ticket extra, from-prices on that listing. Book it or eat in town. Bird Paradise is WEST daylight, a free M1 hop, and a poor add-on after three hours of orangutans. River Wonders if pandas are non-negotiable — Amazon River Quest closed 31 August–30 September 2026. Rainforest Wild is a different muscle. A third park is a separate day.
M2 from Khatib Exit A is S$2.50, contactless only, every 15 minutes, first 8:30am, last from Khatib 11:40pm, last from EAST midnight. Children under 7 ride free. The 8:30 bus will not make Zoo opening — taxi if the door orangutans are the point. A S$5 taxi surcharge applies leaving the parks 1pm–11:59pm. Mandai Boardwalk is free, 7am–7pm, last entry 6pm, and it is closed by the time Night Safari starts. Walk it before the 6pm last entry. The combo is one checkout. The rest between 12:30 and 5:30 still applies.

Zoo, at the door
80 Mandai Lake Road, Mandai Wildlife EAST. Tram included. African Penguin exhibit closed through 30 November 2026; check mandai.com/en/announcements for the day's closed habitats — lions, carousel and sunbear have been rotating afternoon fences. Hide the expectation that every habitat is open. Water. Hat. You are not adding River Wonders at 11.

Breakfast in the Wild, if you booked it
Ah Meng Terrace, about ten minutes from the gate. Buffet until 10:30. Wildlife ambassadors rotate and are not guaranteed. If you did not book: walk the free-ranging boardwalk inside the Zoo — that is the actual magic — and eat a proper lunch in town later. The buffet is not a park pass.
12:30 PM
Leave the ridge. Rest.
Heat peaks. Dining Alley is adequate and not a reason to stay. Go back to town, nap, shower. The boardwalk's last entry is 6pm if the child peaked on tickets and you still want a free reservoir loop — 70–85 minutes, Kingfisher's Cave at EAST — but it is not a third park and it will not be open after Night Safari. First M2 back toward Khatib is the honest move.

Dinner at the gate, or in town
Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant in the Night Safari entrance courtyard is 5:30pm–11pm if you do not want a mall — a dining room, not a ticket. Eat a proper meal either way; on-site food is not why you came. Night Safari admission is the 7pm stop, not this plate. Creatures of the Night is 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 — book a seat two hours ahead, gates close ten minutes prior.
7:00 PM
First tram, then walk
Trails and tram from 7pm. Last tram 11:20pm, about 30 minutes a loop, English commentary complimentary. Walk a trail after one loop; the tram is not the whole park. Embers of Night is 9pm Sunday–Thursday, extra 10pm Friday, Saturday and PH eves, no booking. Last M2 from EAST around midnight. Exploria is a separate visit.

Can I do Zoo and Night Safari in one day?
Yes, and it is long. The rest between 12:30 and 5:30 is not optional. The combo pass is one checkout, not a shorter walk. A third park is a separate day.
How do I get there without a taxi?
Khatib Exit A, M2, S$2.50, contactless. First bus 8:30am so you will miss opening. Last from EAST midnight. EAST to WEST hops are free if you tell the captain — you are not going to WEST today.
Breakfast in the Wild or the boardwalk?
Breakfast if you booked the 9am buffet and already have a Zoo ticket. Boardwalk if you want a free 3.3 km reservoir loop with no orangutans inside the fence. They are different jobs. The boardwalk is not a Zoo substitute.
What about pandas?
River Wonders, 9am–6pm, last entry 5pm. Pandas stay at Pavilion Capital Giant Panda Forest while House of Kai Kai & Jia Jia is in renovation through 30 November 2026. River Wonders is a separate daylight park.
Creatures of the Night included?
It is a show inside Night Safari with its own seat booking — 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, portal opens two hours before, latecomers bounce. The tram is included. The show listing is the in-park component; start from the Night Safari page.
