Things to do on a rainy day in Singapore

A wet afternoon in Singapore calls for a roof, and there's plenty of choice. This list is museums and galleries, indoor playgrounds and science centres, spas and bathhouses, and workshops where you make something and carry it home. Most keep you in air-con for the whole visit, so the weather only decides how you arrive.

Choose by who's coming. Galleries and heritage museums suit adults and older children who like to read the labels, hands-on science and indoor play suit the younger ones, and a spa or a pottery class suits a pair who'd rather not go outside at all.
