The take
Singapore's second-oldest reservoir, a mature secondary-forest boardwalk off Old Upper Thomson Road. Free (nparks.gov.sg). A stretch of the Lower Peirce Boardwalk is shut for maintenance through 30 September 2026 — use Casuarina or Jacaranda for the open remainder. Boardwalk hours 7am–7pm; the rest of the park is 24 hours. Pets banned. Not MacRitchie TreeTop (that's a Monday close) and not Upper Peirce's lookout.
