The take
The HSBC TreeTop Walk is free: 250m, up to 25m, closed Mondays except PH — including 21 Sep 2026. We start at Venus Drive (the short approach), walk the forest before the gate, then cross when it opens at 9am weekdays or 8:30am weekends. We do not run Mondays.

Ex-NParks naturalist. The HSBC TreeTop Walk is a 250m suspension bridge up to 25m above the forest floor — free, one-way, closed Mondays except public holidays (NParks). Weekdays 9am–5pm; weekends and PH 8:30am–5pm; last entry ~4:45pm. He will not take you to the ranger station before it opens. Paddle Lodge kayaks on the reservoir are a different booking (Singapore Canoe Federation).
Highlights

Venus Drive trailhead
Venus Drive carpark (off Upper Thomson) opens 7am. Nature reserve 7am–7pm. Trail etiquette, hide food from macaques, what to listen for.

Forest approach
~2.5km to the ranger station. We walk in the cool; the bridge is not open yet.

TreeTop Walk
Tue–Fri 9am–5pm; Sat, Sun and PH 8:30am–5pm; closed Mondays except PH. Last entry ~4:45pm. Then a wildlife loop — macaques, monitors, colugos if we are lucky.
