The take
A 12-metre lighthouse at the tip of the Raffles Marina breakwater, built in 1994 and looking over the Tuas Second Link to Malaysia. We'd walk the pier near sunset and eat at the marina afterwards. The club asks visitors to follow its house rules.
Good to know
Free access to the lighthouse, open 8am to 8pm; access to the breakwater is restricted in bad weather
No pets, drones, picnics, bicycles or outside food and drink, and keep clear of anglers' lines
Marina Bistro and Captain's Table are open to the public for a meal before or after
Finding it: Raffles Marina, 10 Tuas West Drive, Singapore 638404. Tuas Link MRT (EW33) Exit B, then about a 5-minute walk to the club entrance
