The take
The first of the new hawker centres the government pledged to build, set inside Ci Yuan Community Club in Hougang. The food ranges from chicken rice and fried Hokkien mee to Shanghainese dumplings and Japanese, and the operator aims for one stall per kind of food, drinks aside.
