The take
A three-hour hand-building session in a couple's home pottery studio in Hougang. You coil and shape a cup, bowl or small planter, try the electric wheel briefly and pick a glaze. They fire it, and it's ready in a few weeks. Classes are small, and the studio opens by appointment.

Glazed pieces are ready 2 to 3 weeks later; ages 7 and up come with an adult
