Priya times the Changi Point bumboat. Cash, no timetable, boats leave when full (NParks: typically S$4 each way when the boat fills, ~12 people). Chek Jawa is a bike ride to the east of the island, not this paddle; its boardwalk is free 7am–7pm. Hornbills and otters are possible; she will not promise them.

What you'll do

   6:15 AM

   Bumboat & briefing

   Changi Point Ferry Terminal (51 Lorong Bekukong). Bumboats run on demand ~6am–7pm, typically S$4 cash each way when the boat fills (~12 people). Safety briefing on Ubin.

2. 2

   7:00 AM

   Sunrise paddle

   Two hours through mangrove channels. Chek Jawa is a bike ride, not this paddle — we stay on the water.

3. 3

   9:30 AM

   Village breakfast

   Teh tarik and prata at a village kopitiam near the jetty. Last boats back are usually around 7pm.
