The take
An open-air corner at the foot of Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West where bird keepers hang their cages from poles and let the birds sing. It's the largest bird-singing and display arena in Singapore, and it's busiest early in the morning.

Bird owners usually arrive from about 5.30am, and many stay until late afternoon
